The First Smart Building Research Institute in China Established in Fuzhou

The first smart building research institute in China, jointly established by Fuzhou University and a subsidiary of China Communications Services Corporation Limited ("China Comservice", HKSE code:552) , China Youke Communication Technology Co., Ltd. ("China Youke Company"), was officially established in Fuzhou, and a plaque unveiling ceremony was held in the Smart Building Summit Forum, indicating that China Comservice will comprehensively empower the digital transformation of the building industry with new perspective and dimension, and create a new height of the building industry. During the Forum, China Comservice collaborated with leaders and experts from government, industry associations, enterprises, universities, institutions and relevant fields to explore cutting-edge technologies and innovative concepts in areas such as green building, smart city and sustainable development, promoting high-quality and innovative development in the industry for digital building.

The smart building research institute will focus on the energy-saving performance of zero carbon building components, scenarios of smart buildings, energy management of smart buildings, territorial space planning and use control, performance and simulation of smart buildings, monitoring and disaster prevention of ancient buildings, pedestrian crossings in autonomous driving environment, as well as other aspects. It will continuously explore the innovative application of communications, AI, big data and other technologies in the building industry, in order to bring new momentum to promote the green, low-carbon, convenient, and smart development of building and serve the steady and healthy development of digital economy and green economy.

The president of the smart building research institute elaborated on the future research direction of the institute. Amid the backdrop of rapid innovation of information technology, in-depth promotion of digital transformation, accelerated optimization of networked infrastructure and wide application of intelligent technology, smart building technology will become the future development direction of innovative smart buildings.

The general manager of China Youke Company reported the preliminary exploration and achievements of the research institute. Through China Comservice’s construction experience and technology precipitation in the field of smart buildings, the institute promoted the improvement of smart building products, created "1" series of leading industry standards for smart buildings in the new era, formed "N" smart equipment products, and built "1" set of integrated management platform for smart buildings, improving the whole life cycle of the construction process, supported by digitalization.

Finally, the Forum witnessed the launch of China Youke smart building and intelligent ecological products, and China Youke Company successfully signed contracts with 8 strategic partners and 24 channel agents.
